Two people have been arrested, accused of hitting cruisers and evading police in multiple Connecticut towns.
Connecticut state police dispatchers received reports from Shelton police in pursuit of a white Nissan Altima with a misused registration just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
The occupants of the car were also suspects involved in a pursuit from earlier in the day in Milford, where multiple police cruisers were struck.
The car was said to be involved in a motor vehicle collision, but left the scene shortly after.
The vehicle was later seen entering a soccer field along Second Hill Lane Elementary school in Stratford.
Troop G stepped in to attempt to apprehend the vehicle, but the occupants drove the car onto Route 8 and toward I-95.
Upon reaching the south side Exit 19, the vehicle became disabled due to the many crashes it was involved in.
The driver of the car attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended shortly after.
The driver of the car was identified as George Jakubowski, of Bridgeport.
Jakubowski was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested on various driving endangerment charges.
The man was transferred to Bridgeport Correctional center and has a bond set of $10,000.
The second occupant of the vehicle was identified as Louann Bodnar, of Milford.
Bodnar locked herself in the vehicle as officers attempted to apprehend her.
The Milford resident was then arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and was unable to post her $5,000.
Bodnar is currently being held in the York Correctional Center.
