People are invited to meet at the Sherman Green in Fairfield Thursday morning for coffee, conversation, and a bike ride to celebrate National Bike to Work Day. It is hosted by the Fairfield Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee with the Fairfield Safe Streets Alliance.
The event encourages people to enjoy biking as a healthy and sustainable form of transportation. At the same time, it promotes safe streets for everyone, including pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. Organizers hope the event will inspire more people to consider biking as part of their daily routine.
