A Greenwich man is facing dozens of firearms-related charges after police allegedly discovered a cache of illegal weapons, high-capacity magazines, and ghost gun manufacturing equipment during a search of his Glenville home.

Forty-nine-year-old Michael S. Larriuz was arrested June 15 in Westchester County, New York, as part of a multi-agency investigation led by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. Following his arrest, Greenwich detectives and the FBI Westchester Safe Streets Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence on Stonehedge Drive South.

According to police, investigators seized 14 unserialized firearms, 15 assault weapons, 61 high-capacity magazines, and numerous firearm parts, unfinished receivers, and manufacturing tools.

Larriuz is charged with 14 counts of possession of an unserialized firearm, 15 counts of possession of an assault weapon, and 61 counts of illegal possession of a high-capacity magazine. He is currently being held at the Westchester County Department of Corrections.
