Five teens were arrested just after midnight Sunday after crashing a stolen vehicle into a tree near the commuter lot at Main Street and Broadway Road in Trumbull.
The group included three 13-year-olds, a 15-year-old, and a 16-year-old.
Monroe and Newtown police had alerted nearby towns that the vehicle was believed to be connected to car break-ins.
After the crash, the juveniles ran from the scene.
With help from Connecticut State Police, all five were located in the area.
Monroe police charged them for the stolen vehicle and for engaging police in pursuit.
