Stratford officials say all town beaches are closed for swimming today after Tuesday night storms brought significant rainfall to the area.

The Health Department says it will continue monitoring any additional rain throughout the day and will decide tomorrow morning whether the beaches can safely reopen.

The town says another update will be issued tomorrow morning with the latest status on beach conditions.
