Optimum employees visited the Bridgeport Police Cadets and presented them with a $10,000 donation on Wednesday.

It's believed to be the biggest donation ever made to the cadets.

The money will help 30-25 cadets attend a weeklong academy in July and cover uniform and other clothing costs. It will also pay for upkeep and gas on a bus that was donated to the cadets by the Greater Bridgeport Transit.
