Thirty-year-old Nicolas Brown of New York has been sentenced to 180 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release for child exploitation charges involving incidents in Connecticut and New Jersey.
Court documents state that Brown, known as “Breezy,” arranged Uber trips to pick up one to three teenage girls, two of whom were under the age of 18, from a Connecticut group home and transport them to him at various hotels and shopping malls.
Upon arrival, Brown engaged in sexual conduct with one of the minors.
In a separate incident, Brown arranged an Uber for two minors to the Bridgeport train station, where he met with them and traveled to Manhattan.
The three then traveled from Manhattan to South Hackensack, New Jersey, where they stayed for several days.
Brown was arrested on state charges on March 20, 2024, at a Danbury hotel.
During the arrest, an iPhone was found showing Brown engaging in sexual conduct with a minor, and various videos depicting child sex abuse were recovered.
On Dec. 20, 2024, Brown pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of production of child pornography and one count of possessing and accessing with intent to view child pornography.
