Bridgeport Pastor Kenneth Moales, Jr., who was pistol-whipped and carjacked by a juvenile in Baltimore last summer, is advocating for charges to be dropped against his attacker.
Instead of pursuing prison time, Moales is mentoring the teen and two other juveniles arrested with him through a church program, emphasizing a commitment to forgiveness.
While a formal request to drop the charges has been submitted to the State's Attorney's Office, the court will make a final decision.
