A person was injured during a shooting Saturday evening outside the P.T. Barnum apartment complex, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.

It happened around 6 p.m., just hours after funeral services concluded for 46-year-old Johnny Nesmith, who was shot to death at the complex earlier this month.

Footage from the scene at 200 St. Stephens Road shows a white Infinity sedan riddled with bullet holes, surrounded by crime scene tape.

Police say the victim took themselves to the hospital and is in stable but critical condition as of Sunday morning.
