A 35-year-old Bridgeport man is in critical condition after losing control and crashing his motorcycle Sunday night.

The crash occurred in New Haven around 11:40 p.m. on the intersection of Grand Avenue with East Street.

When police arrived, they determined that the rider suffered serious injuries and sent him to Yale-New Haven Hospital.

No other vehicles appear to be involved based on police reports, but they are still investigating the situation.
