A Trumbull man is facing charges in connection to a Shelton armed robbery, police say.
It happened Wednesday night at the In & Out Mini Market in Howe Avenue.
Police say during the robbery, Paulo Dias approached the cashier, pointed a firearm at their head and demanded money. The cashier complied with the demand and Dias left with stolen money.
Dias was found seven hours later.
When police apprehended him, they recovered the clothes they believed Dias wore during the incident, along with gloves, the stolen firearm and a facsimile firearm.
His charges include robbery, larceny, illegal use of a facsimile firearm and criminal possession of a firearm.
Dias is being held on bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court.
