Two popular Norwalk beaches reopened Saturday after elevated bacteria levels were detected, officials say.
Calf Pasture and Shady beaches were closed from Thursday afternoon to Saturday due to elevated bacteria levels, according to Connecticut's beach advisory.
The City of Norwalk's website listed both beaches as places where swimming is not allowed due to high bacteria count.
