Members of Port 5 Naval Association - a Bridgeport veterans group located in Black Rock - carried out an annual ritual Saturday.
"We placed flags on the graves of our men and women in uniform who are buried here at Park Cemetery," said Larry Conklin, a Vietnam veteran.
"It's a tiny tribute for a huge sacrifice - but it matters," Conklin said.
Port 5 is known for holding tributes to veterans and fallen American heroes, and for building awareness about issues impacting veterans.
