Court documents show that a former Norwalk guidance counselor pleaded guilty for sexually assaulting a seventh-grade student at Nathan Hale Middle School.

Authorities say that Luisa Melchionne, from New Canaan, performed sex acts on the boy inside her office during school hours from 2023 to 2024.

The authorities were tipped off by a fellow teacher after he saw explicit text messages on Melchionne's phone.
