Wednesday is Jersey Mike's annual Day of Giving, celebrating some amazing athletes here in our state.
On Wednesday, Jersey Mike's restaurants across Connecticut will donate 100% of the day's sales to Special Olympics Connecticut. That support will help cover costs for the 59 Connecticut athletes, coaches and volunteers heading to the Special Olympics USA Summer Games in Minnesota in June.
“Really help us celebrate our athletes, support what they do, help make those amazing memories and help them accomplish their goals. It just means so much and we couldn't be more grateful to Jersey Mike's and everyone who's going to eat there,” said Debbie Horne with Special Olympics Connecticut.
