Norwalk Firefighters responded to a structure fire along 122 Stuart Avenue on Saturday night.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy fire from both floors of the one and a half floor residence.

The fire spread to a detached garage and was deemed a second and then third alarm fire.

Hoses were stretched to both floors of the home.

The bulk of the fire knocked down within 20 minutes, according to the Norwalk Fire Department.

No residents were in the home at the time of the fire.

The fire is being investigated by the Norwalk Fire Marshal’s Office.
