A portion of Route 34 in Orange is expected to be closed for a period of time due to a rollover Wednesday afternoon, firefighters say.

Just before 2 p.m., the Orange Volunteer Fire Department, Orange police and AMR responded to area of 171 Derby Ave. for a crash.

Authorities say the car veered off the road, rolled over and hit a utility pole.

They say the occupants only had minor injuries.

The right lane of Route 34 westbound will be closed while the pole is replaced.

It's not clear what caused the crash.
