The UConn Huskies have received various awards ahead of competing for another national title in women's basketball.
Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd are the first Huskies in six years to make the All-America team together.
Strong averaged more than 18 points per game, while Fudd averaged 17 points per game.
The two teammates' achievement will help with the first steps the team needs to have an undefeated championship season.
They are set to face Texas San Antonio in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday.
