A Danbury woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation that dates back to 2018, according to police.
Police say the investigation began when Stamford police discovered the remains of a deceased person. During a lengthy investigation, detectives determined the victim had been killed in Danbury and worked with the Danbury Police Department as the case continued.
As a result of the investigation, the Connecticut Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Dominique Harrison of Danbury.
Danbury detectives arrested Harrison on Thursday afternoon. She is charged with murder with special circumstances and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
