Someone posing as the Norwalk Seaport Association is attempting to scam potential vendors of the Norwalk Oyster Festival.

The nonprofit’s executive director says the scammer has asked prior vendors to submit applications and pay fees.

Organizers are urging potential vendors to seek out the festival’s official website.
