Pristine summer weather Sunday in Connecticut; beware of the rip tide

The weather is perfect but be careful at the beach. There is a hidden danger with rip currents.

After an incredibly warm (fifth warmest July since record keeping started) and stormy July, let's just take time to appreciate the perfect and seasonable weather in store for the first week of August.
Fair weather will anchor itself from the Great Lakes to New England. This will not allow any storms to slide across the area for at least a week. It'll give us a chance to dry out.
Predominant winds this week are also favorable for keeping that really grueling Carolina humidity in the Carolina's. The weather is vanilla or what I like to call a Goldilocks forecast.
Not too hot, not too humid. It's just right.
