A Fairfield convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Monday, police say. It happened around 9 p.m. at News Express on Tunxis Hill Road. The store was opened during the incident but no one was injured.

Police did not provide any information on a suspect or suspects and it's not clear if any money or items were stolen.
