Pleasure Beach in Bridgeport will remain closed for the rest of the summer after multiple tick species were found on the island.
Environmental experts confirmed the presence of several types of ticks, including the invasive Asian longhorned tick.
The city says it will treat the property and that the Fishing Pier at Pleasure Beach will also stay closed for the season.
