There are new developments in the high-profile Jennifer Dulos murder case.
Michelle Troconis is asking an appellate court to review a judge's decision denying her request to be released while she challenges her conviction.
Troconis argues that she remained free on bond for five years before her conviction, never missed a court appearance and has no prior criminal history.
She is currently serving a 14½-year prison sentence after being convicted of conspiring to murder Jennifer Dulos in 2019.
Prosecutors said Troconis helped cover up the killing of Jennifer Dulos, the estranged wife of her then-boyfriend, Fotis Dulos.
Fotis Dulos was charged in connection with the case but died by suicide in 2020 while awaiting trial.
Troconis' appeal of her conviction remains pending.
