McDonald's is launching its largest hiring initiative in five years, with plans to bring on up to 375,000 workers nationwide ahead of the busy summer season.
The fast-food chain says more than 2,600 of those jobs will be in Connecticut.
McDonald's operates 13,000 restaurants across the U.S. and is preparing to open 900 new locations over the next two years.
The hiring push comes after the company reported its second straight quarter of declining sales — its worst drop since the height of the pandemic — as customers cut back on spending.
