A special day of empowerment and survivor support is coming up this weekend during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The Rape Crisis Center of Milford's 19th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event is this Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Lisman Landing.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping the center support survivors of sexual violence throughout the seven towns they serve.
In 2025, the Rape Crisis Center of Milford provided sexual assault victim services to 670 survivors and delivered comprehensive prevention education to more than 10,000 local Pre-K-12th grade students.
