The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk is celebrating its reopening with an art exhibit.
The historic mansion reopened earlier this month following two years of renovations.
The museum has collaborated with the Silvermine Arts Center for the exhibit entitled "Reimagined Reflection."
It features abstract work that focuses on the themes of rebirth and new beginnings.
The museum's executive director says that message applies to the museum and the artists.
The exhibit will run through Sept. 28
