Four employees at the D-Hand Car Wash in Southington were arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Monday, the agency says.
ICE's Homeland Security Investigations Hartford and Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations conducted the random enforcement outreach.
The four employees arrested are from Guatemala and were in the country without authorization, the agency says.
"Businesses, such as D-Hand, that employ unauthorized workers not only undermine the integrity of our immigration system but also gain an unfair advantage over law-abiding companies," said Michael J. Krol, HSI New England special agent in charge.
