The Greenwich Department of Human Services Fund (GDHS Fund) is launching its annual Boots & Shoes Program to support local families experiencing financial hardship. The program provides eligible Greenwich children ages 5 to 15 with $50 DSW gift cards to help purchase new shoes.

The GDHS Fund is a nonprofit that supports programs and services for income-eligible Greenwich residents. Through community partnerships and charitable donations, the organization assists children, families and older adults year-round.

Last year, the program provided gift cards to 185 local children.
