Firefighters from Westport and Fairfield responded to a vehicle fire on the Merritt Parkway Wednesday night.
The incident occurred on the northbound side of the parkway between Exits 21 and 27 around 8 p.m.
Westport firefighters assisted the Fairfield Fire Department at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
