Westport officials rescued a pair of ducks following strange noises coming from a water tank. Water treatment plant supervisor Joe Tracy heard the strange noises from the water tank and found two mallards stuck up to their necks in a brown foam. Tracy called up animal control, and officer Joe Reid got the ducks safely out using a net. The ducks were then transferred and cleaned at a local shelter, and released into the wild this week.
