The Connecticut Lottery has found a way for people to celebrate the state's pizza culture.

In honor of National Pizza Month, the state has partnered with three of its iconic pizzerias, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, Sally's Apizza and Modern Apizza, for the "Connecticut Apizza" scratch game.

CT Lottery worked with the restaurants on the one-of-a-kind design, which incorporates photographs of the actual pies onto the ticket.

People can purchase the limited-run tickets starting Tuesday.

The top prize will be $50,000.

Ahead of its statewide release, a preview event will be held Friday in New Haven, where lottery officials will sell tickets exclusively at each of the pizzeria's locations.
