A Beacon Falls man is facing a murder charge, state police say.
Police received a 911 call Tuesday from Adam Drozdowski, who told officers that he killed someone. Officers responded to Drozdowski's home, detained him and found an unresponsive person.
Drozdowski was taken into custody and charged with murder. He made his first court appearance Wednesday and is scheduled to be back in court Monday. Judicial records show his bond increased to $2 million and Drozdowski was unable to make it.
Brewport in Bridgeport confirms the victim, Naiesha Drozdowski, worked at the restaurant and was killed by her husband.
A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said "What I wish for all of us to do is not mourn her passing but celebrate her life. I'm sure we all have fond memories or specific moments that will be with us forever. I choose to remember her laughter and her brilliant smile her strength of character and unbending willingness to help others. I ask each and everyone of you to think of some joyous memory and share it with someone else. Because no one is truly gone if we keep their memories alive we will miss you Naiesha, but you will not be forgotten."
