A 40-year-old man was shot multiple times in Waterbury on Sunday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to North Main Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, police found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
