A 12-year-old boy riding a bike was involved in a serious crash Sunday, according to police.
Police say the boy was hit by a car on Welches Point Road between Midwood and Long Island View roads, near Calf Pen Meadow Elementary School.
The boy suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police say the driver, 60-year-old Robert Norden, was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
