The Westport Board of Selectwomen approved a proposal Wednesday that will change parking time limits from three hours to two hours for parts of downtown.
The change will impact the areas of Main, Elm and Bay streets, as well as Church Lane and Jessup Road from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As News 12 reported Monday, parking lots would remain at a three-hour limit, while street parking would change to two hours.
Officials say the decision will go into effect once town personnel are able to change affect signage.
