3h agoThe Sterling Community Center in Stratford is hosting its 20th annual celebrity breakfast at the Trumbull Marriott Thursday.
This is a great fundraiser for the Sterling Community center which does so much for the area.
The headliner is radio and TV personality Chris "Mad Dog" Russo.
You will remember him from Mike and the Mad dog on WFAN.
He later started Mad Dog Sports Radio on Sirius-XM and he also appears on ESPN's First Take.
This morning's event is also honoring Bill O'Brien who has worked with Sterling House for the last four decades.
With over 90 years of history, Sterling Community Center says it is guided by values of welcoming all, leading with compassion and dignity, and embracing the diversity of the community.
It offers athletics, youth development, volunteer opportunities, and programs for all ages.
Through the Resource Connection programs, it also provides food assistance and support to neighbors facing times of need.
