Shelton police say one person died Sunday night following a two-vehicle crash on Route 110 near River Road and Montgomery Street. 

Emergency crews say two people from one car have non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Bridgeport Hospital. 

Officials say the driver of the second car was also taken to Bridgeport Hospital where they later died. 

Police are withholding the victim’s name until the next of kin is notified. 

The department’s accident reconstruction team is investigating.
