8h agoPolice say a man was charged with kidnapping in a sexual assault case dating back to the 1980s.
They arrested John Church Thursday after two victims came forward earlier this year in Watertown.
The two victims reported sexual abuse that took place in the summers of 1982 and 83.
Both victims were six at the time.
Police say they were unable to charge Church with the abuse due to the statute of limitations but were able to file kidnapping charges in the incidents.
