Connecticut is taking tougher action against street takeovers under a new law signed Monday by Gov. Ned Lamont.
The law allows police to destroy ATVs, dirt bikes, and mini-motorcycles seized during street takeovers.
Repeat offenders can also lose their driver's license for up to two years if they are found guilty of three or more violations, according to the legislation.
