12h agoA Stratford teenager is dead following a weekend shooting in New Haven.
New Haven police said during a news conference that Jhavare Smith was shot early Sunday morning near Tilton and Mansfield streets.
It happened minutes after a separate non-fatal shooting in the city.
Police said both victims had been at the same club Saturday night but do not believe the incidents are connected or that the victims knew each other.
