Late-day thunderstorms hit before the holiday weekend 

Nice, dry weather for Fourth of July.

Temperatures will be mild and a bit muggy going into Thursday morning.
Another cold front will move in late in the day ushering drier and somewhat cooler air for Friday.
Before the drier air arrives, some isolated strong and severe thunderstorms are possible.
Storms on Thursday could have damaging wind gusts and large hail.
The timeframe will be from about 3 to 4 p.m. through about 7 p.m.
The humidity will be very comfortable for Independence Day on the Fourth of July.
The rest of the weekend will heat back up.
By Sunday, temperatures will rise into the upper 80s, and it will feel more like the 90s again.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 84.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 84.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. High of 88.
