FORECAST:
We had quite a bit of action across Connecticut yesterday with numerous showers and thunderstorms rolling through. Some areas really got soaked - parts of Litchfield County picked up nearly an inch and a half of rain in just 40 minutes. That led to some localized flooding and reports of storm damage around the region.
Today started off with some early clouds, but sunshine has finally broken through. The humidity is sticking around though, so it’ll still feel pretty muggy. Temperatures are on the rise and we’re looking at highs climbing into the 90s by the end of the week.
With the humidity, it could feel closer to 100 degrees. Keep an eye out for more scattered storms on Thursday and Friday.
