Gov. Ned Lamont is set to attend the National Governors Association meeting in Washington, D.C.

The gathering brings together governors from both parties to discuss issues facing their states and the nation.

This comes after more than a dozen Democratic governors, including Lamont, said last week they would boycott a White House dinner.

The boycott was in response to President Trump deciding to exclude Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis from the event.
