ALERTS
EXTREME HEAT WARNING through 8 p.m. Wednesday
HEAT ADVISORY through 8 p.m. Tuesday
It’s another hazy, hot, and humid day out there! We’re hitting the peak of this heat wave today, with actual air temperatures climbing into the low 100s. If you're heading to the beach, it’s a great day for it, but be careful out there. With the humidity, it’s going to feel more like 105 to 110 degrees!
That intense heat is thanks to a big area of high pressure, what we call a “heat dome” that’s been parked over us, keeping things sweltering. We could even see some record-breaking highs again today!
Tomorrow stays hot, with highs in the 90s and that sticky humidity still hanging around. There’s also a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm popping up.
But hang in there, relief is on the way! By Thursday and Friday, temperatures will finally drop back into the much more comfortable 70s.
FORECAST:

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, risk of a shower or storm. High 93
THURSDAY: Partly sunny, thunderstorms. High 78
FRIDAY: Partly sunny, PM storms. High 75
SATURDAY: Early clouds and showers, then sunshine. High 79
