The stretch of beautiful weather we have been enjoying is about to end. Get the umbrella out and keep it handy as we are expecting on and off rain that could start late in day Friday and linger into the start of next week. None of the days are expected to be washouts, but when it rains it could pour. A front looks like it will stall in the area and as waves of low-pressure ride along that front we will get periods of rain and maybe even some thunderstorms.
Friday: Cloudy with showers likely and even the rumble of thunder after 2 p.m. High of 72.
Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms but not all day. They are mainly expected in the morning before 8 a.m. and then in the afternoon after 2 p.m. Timing is going to be tricky and the sun may make an appearance from time to time. High of 67.
Sunday: At this point, some computer models are suggesting the rain lingers. Once again, not a washed-out day but when it rains it could pour. Watching for a few thunderstorms as well. High of 66.
