4h agoLawmakers are taking action against street takeovers with a new bill passed by the state Senate.
The legislation would allow police to seize and destroy vehicles used in street takeovers after 30 days.
Participants could also face a $2,000 fine and lose their driver's license.
The bill now heads to the state House of Representatives.
