A Connecticut state representative was charged with larceny after she allegedly stole her opponent's campaign signs.
The campaign for Republican candidate Darrell Harris told police that campaign signs were stolen from the area of Route 59 and Judd Road.
Police used an AirTag tracker to locate the stolen signs at a property owned by Democrat Anne Hughes.
Hughes, the incumbent, is facing off against Harris in the race for State House District 135.
Hughes sent News 12 a statement that says she removed signs that shouldn't have been on private property.
She also added that she takes full responsibility for her actions and apologized for the incident.
