A cloudy, rainy pattern will develop through the end of the week as a series of low-pressure systems move through, keeping conditions damp and gray.
Rain begins Wednesday night. Steady rain overnight will create wet conditions for the Thursday morning commute. Another round of steady rain will arrive Friday night and could impact some plans on Saturday.
Current projections show 1 to 2 inches of rain, with slightly higher amounts in a few areas. Flooding is not expected, and precipitation will not be as extensive as last week’s event.
Temperatures will cool starting Wednesday as clouds, rain and wind direction shift. Highs will reach the upper 60s for a couple of days before rebounding to the 70s. Pollen levels will remain high until the weekend, with oak, birch, and grass being the primary allergens.
Warmer temperatures will take hold next week.
